# In-game **CHICK** is Chick Coop's value-accrued Governance and plays an important role in the future of our Farmverse. **CHICK** holders/stakers will gain governance voting power in key decisions that affect the future of Chick Coop, have the ability to access the Farmverse ecosystem including many more exciting gameplays, rewards and community engagement. Through **CHICK**, our goal is to align the benefits and responsibilities of all members within Chick Coop including players, investors and the core team/contributors, so that we can achieve the vision of becoming a long-term self-sustainable game while also sharing success with our beloved Chick Coop farmers. In order to reach the above goals, we have built the **CHICK** mechanism to: * Become the main value-accrued of the game. From there, reward Chick Coop farmers who actually put efforts into the farm's growth while also continuously encouraging token holders to keep on holding the token through various forms of incentivization. * Make the game more decentralized by giving our fellow farmers more power in deciding how we will all shape and construct Chick Coop together.
