# Cash and Gems

**Cash** cannot be bought with in-game purchases. Farmers can only earn Cash through playing the game. Cash will be the core resource for upgrading the farm.

**Gem** can be purchased in-game via various forms of payment. In later stages, we will enable the Chick Coop token's payment method as well.
